Check in at Blesfontein Guest Farm 26km West of Sutherland. Enjoy Karoo hospitality and a complimentary star gazing with farm owner Nicol van der Merwe.

Vehicles are left safely at Blesfontein until our return there
Blesfontein is situated on the Roggeveld heights .
Depart after breakfast for Tankwa River Lodge and descend down the Ouberg Pass to the Tankwa Karoo. The descent is the only bit of technical riding on the Tour but the few difficult sections can be walked or taken in the support vehicle

Dinner at Tankwa River Lodge . The Lodge is an old farmstead magnificantly restored and with a lot of character . Peace and tranquillity.
9 May
Depart from Tankwa River Lodge and cycle to the Roodeberg offices of theTankwa National Park at 44km and then another 15 km to Elandsberg Cottages
At Elandsberg each couple has a well appointed chalet with own pool to their own for the next 2 days
Enjoy the vastness of the Tankwa Karoo .

Enjoy the day . Resting walking your choice. And enjoying great meals again prepared by Vanessa.
11 May
Reluctantly leaves Elandsberg and cycle to Middelpos via the scenic Gannaga Pass with brunch at the Gannaga Lodge

Dinner and bed at Middelpos Hotel. Enjoy the old school hotel and home cooking
12 May
Depart for Blesfontein 85 km for the day
Lunch shower and depart to your next destination.
The tour fee includes all the accommodation and all the meals and snacks , support with spares and tools water coke along the way .
Not included is drinks.
